DP Ruto Finally opens up to the Revenue Sharing Debate
The ongoing revenue sharing proposal which has seemed to tear apart the handshake, has created a lot of debate among Kenyans as many awaited for the deputy president, William Ruto to open up to the Revenue formula. Fortunately or unfortunately, the DP, Dr William Samoei Ruto, has just did as many awaited, he has talked about the proposal in one of his social media handles.
DP Ruto, as it is well known country wide, has been very silent on the issue and many Kenyans wanted him say a thing about it as the 'handshake' falls apart. In his Twitter handle, the deputy president said, "The currently ongoing Revenue Sharing Debate is unnecessarily very divisive. The current Constitution envisages a fair and equitable sharing of all our resources."
"The legislature MUST as per its MANDATE structure WIN-WIN formula that is highly sensitive to the proposals made without hurting any county. INAWEZEKANA." He concluded.
The deputy president wrote this on the socialmedia today, July 27.
